Kyoko Tanaka

Kyoko Tanaka is a shareholder in yellow design gmbh and develops design strategies for emotional brand management, industrial design and space design. After her state examination in architecture, the native-born Japanese was responsible for complex interior design and architectural projects for commercial and private use in Osaka and Kyoto. At the KISD in Cologne, Kyoko deepened the diversity of her interdisciplinary design perspectives. Together with Alexander Schlag, she researches and develops a multisensory brand process in order to establish sustainable and holistic design strategies that focus on product and specific know-how, in particular for European-Japanese cooperation. With more than 20 years of experience in the European industrial design scene, Kyoko has been the driving force behind numerous well-known design developments for international companies. She is a member of DGSens and was a juror for iF universal design and Focus Open.
