Linda Schmidt

ifm electronic gmbhEssen, Germany

Linda Schmidt is Head of UX, UI & Industrial Design for ifm electronic gmbh in Essen. After studying in Great Britain and Germany, she built up both fields, initially Industrial Design, later UX, in an industrial setting. Her focus was on the introduction of agile methods and approaches as well as the Usability Norm ISO 9241, including Requirements Engineering. Linda is currently developing strategic products and software in the 14.0 sector from the user's perspective. She has given various lectures and workshops on UX issues with a focus on 14.0 and Automation.
