Mauro Porcini

Samsung Republic of Korea

Mauro Porcini is Samsung’s President & Chief Design Officer — the company’s first-ever CDO, after also serving as the first CDO at PepsiCo and 3M. Earlier, he began at Philips Design and co-founded the agency Wisemad in Italy. Mauro has authored The Human Side of Innovation, L’età dell’Eccellenza, and Good Design is for Everyone. Under his leadership, design teams have won 2,500+ global awards. He has received multiple international honors and is a Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia — Knight of Italy.
