Michael Meyer

Michael Meyer has been a director for industrial design for Home&Garden products made by Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG since 2012. There, he is responsible for an international team of industrial designers, graphic designers and CAD specialists in Germany, China, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Brazil, whose focus is on international customers as well as worldwide development and production partners. Michael completed his studies at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle and began his career at NativeDesign in London in 1999, where he designed various consumer electronics products for such companies as Samsung and Bowers&Wilkins, among others. In 2000, he moved to Alfred Kärcher, founded the in-house design department for Home&Garden products and designed numerous products for indoor and outdoor use. Over the past 18 years, his design team has not only expanded in terms of personnel, but has also gained a wide range of different skills.
