Miguel Bruns Alonso

Miguel Bruns Alonso is director of education at the Department of Industrial Design, TU Eindhoven (Netherlands) and assistant professor in the Designing Quality in Interaction Group. He studied industrial design engineering and obtained his doctorate from the TU Delft (Netherlands). He was a visiting scholar at the Center for Design Research of Stanford University (USA). His research focuses on changing behavior through interactive materiality, i.e. programmable material qualities. Therefore, he (co-)developed various prototypes of interactive products that respond to behavioral expressions through haptic feedback and shape-change.
