Minoru Ikeda

Hitachi Ltd.Tokyo, Japan

Minoru Ikeda is the product design strategist at Hitachi Ltd. , where he has designed a broad range of products, including mobile phones, TV sets, computer servers, and rolling stock. From 1991 to 1996, he worked at Hitachi's Milan office, collaborating with Clino Castelli on CMF design projects. While at Hitachi, Minoru also led advanced design projects, including the development of a future information device and a design language for all Hitachi products. He has also been a part-time lecturer at Chiba University. His designs have won over 40 international design awards.
