Mona Vijaykumar is an architect, urban designer, and data strategist with over five years of experience and a global portfolio spanning the United States, India, and the Middle East. As an Associate Urban Designer at Perkins and Will Boston, she leads transformative master plans for campuses, cities, and health districts that advance ecological performance, cultural identity, and inclusive design. She holds a Master of Science in Architecture Studies and Urbanism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her work has been recognized with the 2024 Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Excellence in Planning Award, the 2023 Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) Merit Award, and national honors in India. Mona drives innovation at the intersection of design, technology, and sustainability—leveraging data-driven strategies and community-centered approaches to address climate resilience, spatial equity, and systems-scale transformation.
