In 1990, the toolmaker and bike mechanic took over the business from his parents, who originally founded it in 1954. The business facilities have meanwhile grown from 700 m² to 11,000 m² – Fahrrad XXL Feld is one of the most rapidly growing bicycle businesses in Germany.
