Ronald Ihrig

Ronald Ihrig studied industrial design in Darmstadt, Germany. In 1982, he gained his first practical experience in automotive design in the studios of the Adam Opel AG. In 1984, he founded his own design studio based near Frankfurt. Ronald is a frequent commentator on the latest trends from the major international automotive exhibitions and, since 2010, he has been a lecturer in automotive history at the University of Reutlingen. He also organizes the Automotive Designers’Night in Frankfurt and Paris and he acts as a judge in many international design competitions.
