Sam Livingstone

Car Design Research Ltd.Cambridge, United Kingdom

Sam Livingstone is a principal of the consultancy Car Design Research in Cambridge (Great Britain) and has worked closely with design leadership at Volvo, Polestar, Volkswagen Group,Toyota, BMW, Hyundai, Renault, Pininfarina, Ford, Honda, and McLaren amongst many others. Sam is also a Visiting Professor at the Royal College of Art where he has tutored in Vehicle Design and Intelligent Mobility Design in London for over 18 years, and has delivered lectures in several other academic institutions including Art Centre in California, Umea in Sweden, and Hongik in the Republic of Korea. He is a judge for several design awards, a leading critical commentator on car design referenced by the media, and has presented at numerous conferences around the world.
