Soo Yeon Kim

LG Electronics Republic of Korea

Soo Yeon Kim is a VP (Director) of Home appliance design lab at LG Electronics. Her job mainly consists of creating a premium brand design identity like LG SIGNATURE, Signature Kitchen suite and specializing in product as well as UX design. Soo Yeon has won 15 awards at iF Design, as well as 18 awards at reddot and 9 awards at Idea awards. Having completed the MBA course at Alto University in Helsinki, she specializes in thinking about design solutions from a business perspective. More recently, she has been carrying out advanced design work to discover new customer experience-based home appliance concepts beyond the current home appliance areas such as refrigerators, washing machines, and ovens.
