Timo Ripatti

Studio RipattiHelsinki, Finland

With his Helsinki-based studio Ripatti, Timo Ripatti designs furniture and lighting, characterized by sculptural forms and a Scandinavian touch. His clients include Microsoft Finland, Kone and the Finnish parliament. Timo also lectures in design and architecture at the Aalto University and at the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts. As a furniture design and architecture graduate, in 2010, he was selected as Finnish Furniture Designer of the Year.
