Toshiyuki Kita

Toshiyuki Kita is a product designer and began his career in Japan and Milan, Italy in 1969. He has produced many best-selling products for Italian, German and Japanese manufacturers. Many of his works have been included in the permanent collections of several Museums around the world, such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, and the Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg. He is also involved with traditional craft design, promoting local industry and acting as a creative director. He is a guest professor at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and a professor at the Osaka University of Arts.
