Ümit Altun

DESIGNUMIstanbul, Türkiye

Ümit Altun is the founder and design director of DesignUM, a design studio based in Istanbul. Ümit studied Industrial Design at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul and graduated in 1985. He worked at Otokar, Teletaş and Arçelik respectively. In 2004, he founded DesignUM to provide industrial design, design consultancy and strategic design services to many different sectors such as automotive, electrical appliances, household goods, electronic goods, medical products and many more. He has many award-winning product designs to date.
