Winfried Scheuer
Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste StuttgartStuttgart, GermanyWinfried Scheuer was born in 1952 in Calw, Germany. From 1973 to 1977 he studied Product Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, obtaining a Masters Degree in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art in London in 1981. He was Senior Designer at San-Francisco-based ID-Two from 1983 - 1986, before becoming freelance in London in 1986. From 1991 - 1998 he served as a Visitor Tutor for Product Design at the Royal College of London and since 1999 has been Professor for Industrial Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart.
