Yong-Cai Wang

Yong-Cai Wang (born 1974) is co-founder and design director of Newplan Design Co. Ltd., the largest Chinese industrial design company, established in 2000. He holds an MA in industrial design from the Northwestern Polytechnical University. Newplan focuses on different design areas such as consumer electronics, home appliances, communication devices, medical equipment and other products. Furthermore, the company provides design and consulting services to more than 200 companies, including GE, Haier, Lenovo, ZTE and Mindray. As senior designer and design manager, Yong-Cai Wang was responsible for more than 200 projects and products. In 2006 he was included in the top ten Chinese design talents, and in 2013 he was ranked among the ten best Chinese industrial designers.
