YoungJun Kim

Republic of Korea

YoungJun Kim has been vice president of the design research team at Samsung Electronics since 2005. When he joined the company in 1984, he was first responsible for the development and the design of flat screens as well as for their areas of application, as LCD monitors or LCD TV sets, for example. He is currently teaching at the Samsung Art & Design Institute (SADI), is the director of the Gwangju Design Center and the vice president of the Korea Association of Industrial Designers.
