Yumian Deng

LEAPX Design China

Yumian Deng studied Mechanical Engineering and Visual Arts at Duke University and worked at Microsoft before being recruited by DJI founder Frank Wang to lead the design and development of the Mavic Pro and Mavic Air. Upon launch, the Mavic Series revolutionized the consumer drone industry with its unmatched portability and functionality. Widely recognized as the best drones by users and media alike, they have received numerous international design awards.  In 2018, Yumian founded and established LEAPX Design to explore design and innovation opportunities across various industries.
