Today, type is animated, perceived differently through optical illusions, seen but also felt (e.g. Braille). How do digital possibilities change the work of type designers and designers? The 27th Leipziger Typotage will explore the development of movable type and take a look at its future. The lectures will deal, among other things, with type research, creative coding, type design and visual communication.
