iF Design with new iF Representative Office UK in London

iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the world's leading design award organizations headquartered in Hannover, Germany, is thrilled to announce the opening of the first iF Representative Office UK, based in London. At the same time, the company has appointed Brad Harper as its official representative for the UK market.

Since its establishment in 1953, iF Design has been an influential force within the global design community. Presenting one of the most prestigious design awards in the world, the iF DESIGN AWARD celebrates the most important design achievements across product, packaging, communication, service design, architecture, interior architecture, user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and professional concept disciplines. Each year, more than 10,000 submissions from approximately 70 countries are evaluated by an international jury of experts.

With the launch of the iF Representative Office UK and the appointment of Brad Harper as UK Representative, iF Design highlights the importance of the United Kingdom as one of Europe's most innovative and influential design markets. For the first time, iF Design now has an official representation in the UK market.

Uwe Cremering, CEO of iF Design, comments: ‘The United Kingdom is one of the most important design hubs in the world. With Brad Harper, we have gained a highly connected expert who has been actively shaping the British design landscape for many years. His experience, network, and passion for design will help strengthen the relationship between iF Design and the UK's design community.’

Within the British design industry, Harper is widely recognized as one of its most influential and respected figures. For more than a decade, he has supported companies such as SharkNinja, Polaroid, SURI, and the design agency Blond in identifying and recruiting top design and creative talent.

Brad Harper says: “For almost 75 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been one of the world's most respected and influential marks of design excellence. I am excited to help build stronger connections between the UK's design community and the international iF network, expand iF Design's presence across the United Kingdom, and support designers at every stage of their careers and in every region of the country.”

The new presence in London will strengthen collaboration with companies, design consultancies, universities, and institutions, while further increasing the visibility of British design achievements within the global iF Design network.

In addition to serving as a key contact and network ambassador for the iF DESIGN AWARD, Harper will also promote participation in other iF Design initiatives, including the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD for emerging design talent and the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE, which supports projects that create positive social impact and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
