iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE 2022_2
iF Design supports 22 social initiatives around the world with EUR 100,000++Nearly 1,200 projects from NGOs, foundations, social entrepreneurs and other public and private initiatives from 75 countries were submitted for the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE.
Since 2017, iF Design has been supporting outstanding social projects and initiatives worldwide with the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE with EUR 100,000 per year. The award is presented twice a year to projects that address the pressing challenges facing our society.
In 2022, nearly 1,200 projects from NGOs, foundations, social entrepreneurs and other public and private initiatives from 75 countries were submitted for the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE. In the first round, twelve social projects have already been supported with EUR 50,000 – now, in the second round, ten more projects have been awarded the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE 2022 and prize money totaling another EUR 50,000.
The selected projects are presented on the iF Design website. The categories of the international competition are based on the official Sustainability Goals of the United Nations - from the fight against hunger and poverty to the promotion of sustainable agriculture, respect for human rights and the promotion of education.
These ten projects will be honored with the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE and with EUR 5,000 each:

Habibi and Sport with Refugees / Sports program for a happier refugee community in Greece
SUD mothers and pregnant women recovery program / First treatment center for drug-addicted pregnant women in Iran
Poderosas Colombia / Project for sex education and more self-determination in Colombia
Kakshaa-Search Engine for Learning / App for free learning content promotes equal opportunities in India
Ending Gender-Based Violence / Human rights project against discrimination in South Africa
Tools for Life / Support for more independence for women in Kenya
Happiness Safeguarding Stations / Cheap meals for disadvantaged children and students in Taiwan
Bicycles - Mobility for Ukrainian refugees / Sustainable mobility for Ukrainian refugees in Latvia
