Focus on excellent design: Registrations for the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 are possible until 5 November 2025
The regular registration deadline ends on 26 September 2025 - 93 categories in nine disciplines
Designers and companies who would like to have their design achievements evaluated by independent, international design experts can register their products and projects for the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 online at ifdesign.com until 5 November 2025. Since its premiere in 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has established itself as one of the world's most important and renowned design competitions with over 10,000 entries from 70 nations every year. It is regarded as a symbol of outstanding design quality and focuses on innovative strength, aesthetics and forward-looking design.
Companies, designers, agencies as well as clients, architects and interior designers from all over the world see the award as an important test and appreciate its high, internationally recognized status – not least as a proven instrument for successfully marketing their services. Submissions are possible in nine different disciplines and a total of 93 categories.
The registration fees are staggered. Anyone who submits their design for the iF DESIGN AWARD by 26 September 2025 will receive a price advantage of EUR 100 compared to the last chance deadline on 5 November.
Sustainability as a key criterion for the iF DESIGN AWARD
Alongside idea, form, function and differentiation, sustainability accounts for one fifth of the assessment criteria for the iF DESIGN AWARD. The nine-member iF Sustainable Working Group (SWG), an interdisciplinary team of experts, helps the iF jury to integrate the core elements of ecological and social impact into the iF jury.
