The iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2020 has started!
Now, the competition categories correspond to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Design students from around the world are invited to submit ideas and concepts that address the most pressing challenges facing our society. Registration is possible until 30 January 2020 – free of charge!
From now on, the categories of the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2020 correspond to the (SDGs). In this way, iF wants to express its respect for the important work of this organization and encourage young people to think in broader dimensions. Young designers in particular are in a unique position to think independently and create solutions that make our world a better place.
The first round of the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2020 can already be registered online until 30 January 2020. Students and recent graduates of all design-related courses are invited to submit their ideas and concepts free of charge. An independent international jury of design experts will judge all submitted concepts and will honor the most outstanding works with a total of EUR 20,000 in prize money (per round).

End Poverty / Zero Hunger / Good Health and Well-being / Quality Education / Gender Equality / Clean Water and Sanitation / Affordable and Clean Energy / Decent Work and Economic Growth / Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure / Reduced Inequalities / Sustainable Cities and Communities / Responsible Consumption and Production / Climate Action / Life below Water / Life on Land
In order to win an iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2020, the entry must get above-average marks answering the following questions:
Does it approach or solve a relevant problem?
Does it reflect moral-ethical standards?
Does it strengthen or promote high group relations?
Does it create a positive experience?
Does it balance effort and use value?
For the very first time, all winners of the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2020 will be celebrated by the end of the year in the new iF design center in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in Southwest China.
