Outdoor Design: Six chairs too beautiful for just one purpose
Summertime and outdoor furniture may be - slowly - coming to an end, but styslish seatings are never out of style. Some of them are even too beautiful, to only stay outdoors and are perfectly suitable for the indoors as well. Check out six winner designs of chairs that can do all seasons!
We are still in awe after the wonderful ceremony of the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD 2024 in Milan, Italy. And especially by the beautiful outdoor furniture and seatings at the terrasse after the ceremony, kindly set up by Italian outdoor furniture brand Plust - precisely their BOOM collection.
Plust was founded in 2007 as a made-in-Italy design brand of euro3plast Spa, a company founded in 1974 in Vicenza.
The BOOM is a furniture family designed by Marco Gregori for Plust, brand of Euro3plast, launched in 2022. Their ergonomically shaped and enveloping armchairs were perfect for our winners and guests to have a drink and celebrate.
What is most striking is the material: Boom family is made of special plastic mixtures that render the material texture of natural elements in five nuances: White, Tide, Mint, Crete and the striking White Light - a special stone effect that can be illuminated from within.
Like all Plust furniture, at the end of its life, Boom family can be recycled, thereby reducing waste in general. The products are made of polyethylene and moulded using rotomoulding technology, which makes them durable and high-quality.
And they inspired us to think of outdoor furniture differently: We dived into our winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 and selected outdoor chairs too beautiful, to be used only outside and only in the summer season.Check out six winner chairs for all the seasons below!
