The DAAP is to achieve the disc-brake road wheels' engineering perfection: lightweight, aerodynamics, robustness even for the hard braking power. DAAP SL version is only 1265 grams with the 50 mm-deep and 31 mm-wide rims. All the carbon spokes are designed for this project, with super-aero shape, high tensile strength and modulus, and the thread-nipple structure for easy maintenance. 6*3 spokes per wheel are grouped together to make the E3 ( E-cubed) structure to reduce the rotational drag. All the spokes are tangential on the over-sized hub flanges with the same tension on left and right, which makes the braking capability exceptional.
