The Green Marathon is THE new benchmark for sustainability in tire development and the most sustainable tire Schwalbe has developed to date. The Marathon is the first and only bicycle tire in the world to close the product-cycle: Its rubber compound uses 100% carbon black from recycled bicycle tires. The tire is extremely durable and also made entirely from fair trade natural rubber and consists of 80% recycled and renewable materials.
