Machine handle

This stable, ergonomic handle is designed for machines and structures made from aluminium section. In contrast to standard commercial handles of this size, the handle is injection moulded in one piece. The handle shape – bent at a right angle – allows for two handles to be fit opposite each other, such as on double-winged or sliding doors. A finger protection stops fingers being caught by the movement of heavy doors or between the door and other machine parts. The form language of FATH’s machine handle addresses the mechanical world on the one hand and the ergonomic expectations of the user on the other – and the handle grip with its oval cross-section and soft-moulded grip ribs does indeed sit nicely and securely in the hand.
