With two legs, one can perform gracefully on a figure skate. Correspondingly, two does not only define the double of one: it creates a possibility for innovation and unpredictable outcome. The Dual Display Mobile Phone GUI not only shows twice as many the functions and applications, but also allows other possibilities that previous mobile phones have never challenged before. Among many layered applications, users can bring a desired application upfront with the Multitasking Manager on the sub LCD, which acts as a toolbar for the main LCD. For example, when taking a picture, the main display shows the image and the sub display shows the option menus. This dual display is a design innovation which will set a new trend for the mobile phone industry.
