Plastic products and waste material are part of our daily lives, be it at home, in school or at the office. We don't know where to put most of these products, or feel that it is such a waste. The quantity of plastic waste is constantly rising and thus affecting our lives in the future and causing damage to the environment due to huge landfills and the long time it takes to degrade. In addition, it affects the overall beauty of our cities by creating "visual pollution". The 3D-Reprinter is a device that is designed to allow users to recycle their home waste plastic bottles into new products.

JURY STATEMENT

"Combining 3D printing and recycling of waste material is a very good idea, and could be made feasible in the near future. If the processing unit could be this small, is currently a question mark."

WINNER STATEMENT

We are very honored to receive the 2014 iF concept design award. We would like to thank the organizing committee for your recognition, each member of our team for all their efforts and our teachers for their guidance. We hope to have many more interesting ideas for designing good products.
