The 6490 Triple Quadrupole is Agilent’s latest Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer. It incorporates the new “iFunnel” technology, which revolutionizes the process of atmospheric pressure ion sampling, delivering a breakthrough sensitivity specification that is ten times higher than any comparable system. The new curved and tapered collision cell allows for a more compact system design with a 25% smaller footprint. It is used to accurately quantify a wide range of compounds to create new opportunities in clinical research, environmental, pharmaceutical, food safety, and other areas where parts-per-trillion sensitivity is often required.
