Duplex book/program

These 40-page, duplex books served as the program for The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 79th Oscars® ceremony. Artwork and graphic design took their cue from the use of a wide range of famous movie lines and dovetailed with on-air motion graphic transitions to further the key aesthetic for the international broadcast. Building on the national advertising campaign, typographic art served to emphasize the most-memorable cinema moments and lend an air of excitement. With an unconventional diagonal binding, one volume became two, allowing for double points of entry.
