In collaboration with BMW Group DesignworksUSA, John Deere has developed the design for the new 944K Wheel Loader. The challenge in creating the largest unit on the construction divisions loader line was to develop this substantially proportioned machine with the same design language of the smaller machines, to ensure that the entire line of loaders upholds a distinct and cohesive family esthetic. One of the main design components on the wheel loaders is the hood and rear handle integration. The 944K Wheel Loaders interior is the best in its class, featuring a comfortable, spacious and functional cab ready to take on the rigors of a ten hour work day.

If industrial vehicles can be cool, then this one is. All details are extremely well coordinated the lines and individual shapes harmonize to create a clear, individual design. Everything is very cohesive, for a piece of large construction equipment that has a simply fantastic overall design.
