This is the flagship model in Sonys Alpha series of digital SLRs designed for high-end camera enthusiasts. The Alpha mount the unifying design theme for the Alpha series is boldly integrated with the pentaprism which balances with the body, creating an iconic design. The grip is a well-considered ergonomic design. A light, yet strong, magnesium alloy is used for the front, back, and top of the shell to reduce the total body weight to 850 gram. The VG-C90AM model allows those who prefer to shoot vertically to enjoy the same superior hold they have when taking a horizontal shot.
