This is the flagship model in Sony’s “Alpha” series of digital SLRs designed for high-end camera enthusiasts. The “Alpha” mount — the unifying design theme for the “Alpha” series — is boldly integrated with the pentaprism which balances with the body, creating an iconic design. The grip is a well-considered ergonomic design. A light, yet strong, magnesium alloy is used for the front, back, and top of the shell to reduce the total body weight to 850 gram. The VG-C90AM model allows those who prefer to shoot vertically to enjoy the same superior hold they have when taking a horizontal shot.
