“A Girl in Red” is a game app about a little girl who suffers mental torture because of sexual abuse. In reality, millions of similar victims are deeply traumatized by past nightmares even after growing up. The designers used many metaphors to tell the story in an artistic way. Their aim is to warn and prepare children, and to raise public awareness of child sexual abuse.

Child sexual abuse is a real and prevalent problem which is so emotionally disturbing that it tends to be shrouded in a blanket of shame and silence. This warm, emotional artistic app has the potential to draw public attention to this important issue.
