This weekend residence, located in a provincial city facing the Sea of Japan, overlooks the rias coast with its saw-toothed cliffs. The layout and openings are designed to maximise the experience of this great natural scenery. In the harsh climate, where northern winds prevail, traditional wisdom and local materials were integrated to harmonise the architecture with its surroundings. BIM technology was used to simulate light, views, and wind, ensuring comfort both inside and out. The consistency of the interior and exterior design creates continuity with the landscape, offering residents a unique experience of unity with the land and nature.
