A slant-edged coin

Coin

The edge of the coin is beveled so that there is a certain distance between the edge of the coin and the surface the coin is resting on. All you need to do is to press the edge if you want to pick a coin up because it will tilt right after pressure is applied. This makes picking up coins much easier, particularly for people with limited mobility in their fingers and hands and for children, who still lack the fine motor skills.
