Due to the rounded, ergonomic shape and the removable battery, which is placed inside the handle, the machines have an excellent weight balance and offer the surgeon optimized handling characteristics. Aesculap AG & Co. KG Tuttlingen, GermanyBy integrating the electronic control inside the removable battery the steam-sterilisation of temperature sensitive battery-cells and electronic components is avoided. This and the housing made of titanium and stainless steel make the system durable and reliable.
