aedifion.io is a highly specialized IoT platform for advanced operation, monitoring, and optimization of technical building equipment, energy systems, and district heating and cooling grids. This powerful tool reduces operating costs and increases both energy efficiency and the value of assets. Normally, this type of software looks very technical and outdated. While the UI for such complex software is itself quite elaborate, the designers wanted it to look good and feel solid so that it would deliver a great user experience. The goal was to engage users through both the platform's functionality and design.
