UX design, FAC

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

This air conditioner UX communicates information on the surface display. The design focus is to alleviate the uneasiness that users feel when using a new product. This is achieved using a fluid display that provides feedback on the use of a remote control in addition to voice feedback. Indoor PM2.5, PM10 and gas information is provided in real-time through sensors, enabling users to check the condition and quality of the air anytime for comprehensive care. In the smart mode, the air conditioner automatically shifts to wind-free cooling mode to stop the emission of cold wind and maintain the desired temperature with less energy usage.
