AfricroozE - The African e-Bike
e-mobility
AfricroozE's (ACR) vision is to establish electric bicycle (e-bike) mobility that is affordable for the majority of Africans, while creating jobs, saving C02, building local expertise, empowering communities and contributing to the achievement of several SDGs. In 2019, an e-bike tailor-made for the African market was developed in collaboration with Ugandan and German partners. The 'ACR' was developed for various purposes and is currently used as a taxi, delivery vehicle, ambulance, to transport water and other goods, or as a commuter bike. ACR has been able to deploy more than 500 e-bikes in urban and rural settings in 8 African countries.
Designed for Africa, AfricroozE's e-bike boosts affordable e-mobility while cutting CO2, creating jobs, and improving access. Serving as taxis, ambulances, and more, these bikes transform urban and rural mobility, aligning with SDGs for sustainable impact.
