Air Ambulance Interior

Medical Helicopter Interior

Redesigning the Air Ambulance Interior uses the process of co-designing with medical flight crew from a level 1 trauma center, to envision an Air Ambulance concept for inter-hospital transfers. The redesigned interior enables the medical flight crew to have enhanced access to their patient, medication, and equipment through a configurable and easily adjustable seating arrangement that allows for distinct responsibilities and collaborative tasks. Storage units are also strategically located to allow for direct and easy access to specific medical items with clear visual cues to enable quick understanding and precision in locating medical items.

JURY STATEMENT

A very organized and well designed medical helicopter interior, it gives a perfect overview and flexibility due to the situation which is crucial in most emergency situations to safe life.

WINNER STATEMENT

Glad that the long journey of working through the research, ideas, sketches, prototypes, and renderings culminated in a holistic solution that has been endorsed by the design community.
