Airport Heroes: Swap Cards
Branding activity
The staff in Haneda, Tokyo’s closest international airport, work for an array of contractors. This means they remained locked in silos with little interaction. We photographed each employee in their work uniform, giving a typical gesture of their working day. Then we placed the images against colored backgrounds that emphasize their character and humanity, and created a unique pack of cards that can be exchanged like business cards. This enables staff to interact and bond with colleagues in other roles. The result was a united, motivated team that helped catapult Haneda to the number 2 position on SKYTRAX in 2017.
