The main design goal with this machine was to create an overlocker which is easy for anyone to operate. By adopting a ‘looper threading mechanism with an original air delivery method’, the troublesome task of threading the needle has been made easy for anyone. In terms of design, the machine consists of straight lines and gently curved surfaces. By reducing the roundness of the edges, a sharp impression is imparted and, at the same time, the utilizable work space for placing the fabric is increased. In the combination of colors used for the outer design -– "matte white", "metallic silver" and "warm gray" – attention was focused on creating a chic and calm appearance.
