Airy is a clever, never-before-seen wrist blood pressure (BP) monitor inspired by nature’s Mimosa Pudica, a plant whose leaves close when touched. Unlike conventional wrist monitors, which are often unreliable due to mispositioning, Airy’s open cuff design makes it an easy, universal fit for all users. A push of the display against the inner wrist sets its biomimicry mechanism to auto-close and tighten over the pulse to precisely the right amount for comfortable testing. The cuff loosens as soon as systolic and diastolic pressures are determined, taking the guesswork and hassle out of self-administered BP testing.
