Storage solutions for walls
The much-admired Danish designer Cecilie Manz has produced a collection of small, playful functional storage solutions for walls. Aitio (meaning theatre box in Finnish) can be mounted on the wall as a single piece where small, targeted storage is needed, for example by the door for your keys or indeed to highlight small mementos that have a place in one’s heart but no obvious place in the room. Besides walls, the versatile Aitio storage works great also on table-tops. Aitio is made from powder-coated steel, birch wood and plastic hooks. It is available in variety of colors and is designed to be easily removed from the wall for cleaning.

The meaning of Aitio is theatre box, and the materials of powder-coated steel and birchwood together with the plastic hooks offer a different level of expression for users. The color combinations work as cheerful statements and may attract precisely the attention allowed by the surrounding interior. These aesthetic solutions for individual organization at home somehow reflect the Nordic tradition and focus on homes as places of continuous development and expression of self-identity.
