Sculptural core object

It’s the creation of a sculptural furniture element around the core, the “core object”. The design is based on illuminated horizontal stripes or bands bordering the core walls. In some specific areas, the bands grow larger and swell into elements. The arrangement of those elements follows a windmill shape, with the upper elements rotating clockwise, the lower elements rotating counter-clockwise around the core. The combination of illuminated stripes reflecting in the glossy surfaces and the rotation in opposite directions create the different shapes and layers of material that finally create a fully self-contained object, the core object.
