All in One

Interior Architecture

As living spaces become increasingly smaller and the number of singles in the urban population continues to rise, we designed “All in One” to meet the basic living needs of singles as well as to provide a comfortable living experience to lower their risk of suffering from mental illnesses. To fully utilize the space in this micro apartment 10 square meters in size, we adopted the methods of sliding, folding, and nesting, which made it possible for “All in One” to be flexibly transformed into various functional spaces, depending on what the single needs at different times of the day.

JURY STATEMENT

In an attempt to combine multifunctionality with flexibility and comfort in a micro apartment of 10 square meters, the designer has adopted different technical strategies to integrate the furniture into a dynamic space. A remarkable note is the existence of a balcony that works with the same principles as the interior and, most of all, gives to the inhabitant the feeling of being in the great outdoors.

WINNER STATEMENT

We are so surprised to hear the good news. It’s a great honor to win the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2017, which recognizes our design ability and encourages us to achieve better works in the future.
