Living book

ALNO wanted to present a new kitchen concept at a trade show. But the kitchen didn’t exist yet, except for a few sketches. So we made use of the design process itself – with an interactive touchable experience. A conventional book was brought to life via video mapping. Page for page it showed moving images of everything from first ideas over more precise drafts up to 3D renderings. On less than one square meter, the book became the highlight of one of the largest kitchen exhibitions in the world. Thousands of visitors engaged in the new kitchen concept. And we got more inquiries than ever before – about a kitchen that was still in the making.
