Alphabet Touch Card

Literacy aid for the visually impaired

This card helps visually impaired children learn the alphabet through a sense of touch. The learner places their finger on the button and drags it across the card to learn the shape of letters and alphabetical order. The braille sign of the letter is located at the bottom of the card.

JURY STATEMENT

Visually impaired people who can’t write well encounter many difficulties in everyday life. This simple tool helps visually impaired children to recognize the form and order of letters, starting them on a journey to literacy, and with that to greater independence.

WINNER STATEMENT

The alphabet touch card is an educational tool that helps blind people learn to write. I hope that this design helps to sensitize people to the needs of the blind. Thank you.
