Proton Therapy is a true success, used today to treat many cancers. Opening in 2014, Willis Knighton will have the first IBA Proton Therapy room with Ambient Experience for Patients. Ambient Experience Design helps to comfort patients and support staff workflow by creating a soothing environment throughout the entire journey. Ambient Experience Design comforts cancer treatment patients with interactive media, advanced animated skylight, adaptable sound and soothing dynamic led room lighting. The room is visually clean and void of any obtrusive elements, helping to reduce patient anxiety while making for a highly functional environment.
